This combination gives you an extra 2 square metres of space in the form of a vestibule. This provides extra protection from the wind and cold or (stretched out with a thermal layer on the outside) acts as air conditioning when the sun decides to show you what “hot as hell” means in practice. Your kit still remains unbeatably light – under 2kg.

Note – to enjoy the extra space, support the end of the tarp on a trekking pole, paddles or other available support.

The CORE-TENT® LODGER is half a meter longer than other ultra-lightweight tents, allowing you to spread out your gear so it doesn’t interfere with sleeping comfortably.

Tall people especially appreciate this solution – no more snagging your head on the tent walls, no more feet sticking out of the tent.

The tent paired with a 2×3 tarp provides additionally a side luggage space with convenient access through the side entrance of over 1 sq. m.

When using a 3×3 tarp, the vestibule provides another 2 sqm under the roof.

It is not only a space for luggage, it is also a comfortable living space during rain or heat.

Front and side entrances offer a wealth of choices depending on individual needs and situations.

You can go classic by using only the front entrance, while leaving the side ones as access to the tarp-covered “luggage” area.

You can also raise the half tarp, lean on trekking poles, paddles, bicycles or simply branches and enrich your bedroom with a roof covered patio.

It’s not only a comfortable wide exit but also an opportunity for evening campfire contemplation?.

The CORE-Tent® LODGER is designed to create large, lockable ventilation ducts when covered with a tarp.  Thanks to them and the two-layer construction (mosquito + trap-tropic) moisture does not condense and at the same time allows to regulate the temperature inside.
