HOT Tarp 4×3 Cotton – A 12-square-meter technical cotton tarp with a built-in chimney port, designed to provide you with maximum versatility in the wild.
This tarp is ideal for creating extra shelter in front of a tent or 4×4 vehicle. It gives you the freedom to cook and dine in comfort, no matter the weather or flying sparks.

Chimney Port:

Our tarp is fully compatible with portable stoves. The chimney port is made from fire-resistant material that can withstand temperatures up to 800°C.
A star-shaped cut ensures that the chimney stays securely in place while preventing rain from entering. The port fits most stove pipes on the market with diameters between 4 and 8 cm.
A loop below the port and a stabilizing cord (included) keep everything in place for extra security. When the chimney is not in use, cover the port with a Velcro-secured flap for weather protection.

Caution!: The chimney port may deform slightly under high heat, which is a natural occurrence and does not affect the product’s safety.

Technical Cotton:

The HOT Tarp Cotton is crafted from tightly woven technical cotton (BreDre 220g/sqm), offering a range of unique benefits.
Technical cotton is much more resistant to sparks and flames than most synthetic materials, making this tarp safer for use near campfires.

The waterproof properties of the material are enhanced by a DWR coating and the natural swelling of cotton fibers when exposed to moisture, creating a tight seal against rain. This combination eliminates the need for additional seam sealing.

Caution!: While technical cotton is highly resistant to sparks be aware it is not flameproof. Avoid contact with hot surfaces like stoves to prevent damage to the tarp. Always maintain a safe distance between the tarp and any heat source.
