FASTFOLD HEAT Protector

The Heat Protector is a lightweight, perforated thermal shield that significantly reduces the risk of overheating or damaging the tent fabric where the stove pipe passes through the roof or wall of a tent, tarp, tipi, or poncho shelter.

Designed for outdoor enthusiasts who use wood-burning stoves (Like FASTFOLD Stoves) and want to enjoy warmth and comfort without compromising safety.
The shield acts as a radiator, absorbing some of the heat from the chimney and dissipating it into the surrounding air. This helps prevent direct radiant heat from being focused on a single area of the fabric.

It’s a simple yet highly effective way to increase thermal protection and safety inside your shelter, especially during heating for a long time.
The Heat Protector is ideal for bushcraft adventures and winter camping alike, wherever a stove pipe needs to pass through a fabric wall or roof.

The protector is mounted directly onto the chimney pipe by sliding it over the desired section, whether using segmented or roll-up pipe, at the point where the chimney exits through the fabric.

It features six clamping screws – three at the top and three at the bottom—allowing for gentle yet secure fastening around the pipe.

Thanks to its adjustable grip, the protector fits pipes ranging from 4 to 8 cm in diameter.
Once positioned, simply tighten the screws by hand or with a screwdriver. The protector stays firmly in place, even in strong winds or if the chimney shifts slightly.
